Tour Details

Canmore Quad Tours offers you an opportunity to explore the beautiful Albertan foothills to the very edge of the Rocky Mountains. Using our 2 up Touring  ATV’s you will be guided over a net work of trails covering a total area of 1500 square kilometres. Fantastic views, wildlife and using an ATV make this a truly memorable adventure for the whole family. The first trail head is only 1 hr from Canmore so don't waste time travelling come quading with us.

Tours are over mild to moderate terrain, making this perfect for all skill levels from novice to expert. We start all tours with vehicle orientation, general riding and safety instructions. All guides are holders of the Canada Safety Council ATV training course certificates and are certified Adventure Medics.

All our tours offer ample photo opportunities, so bring your camera and take home some fantastic memories.

Things to bring

  • Rubber boots or hikers
  • Change of clothes or rain suit
  • Lunch and plenty of water
  • Sunglasses or goggles

Things to wear

You will get wet and muddy, so wear long sleeves, long pants and sturdy boots. Even on sunny days it can suddenly rain or become cold so bring clothing appropriate for sudden weather changes.

Canmore Quads will lend you eye protection and a DOT approved helmet for your safety.

For winter tours warm winter gear such as a ski suit or wind-proof shell with layers including fleece or sweater.

  • Insulated snow boots that extend to above the ankle
  • Gloves/ mitts and toque
  • Toe/ hand warmers are recommended; these can be purchased at sport shops
  • On request, we provide adult winter outerwear and mittens

Interesting Fact about ATVing

ATVing exerts less pressure on soft or sensitive terrain than the average human foot, ATV tires apply less than 6.3 pounds per square inch (psi) while people create 9 to 12 psi when walking.

The Legal Part

No alcohol or drugs allowed on tours.

Canmore Quad Tours Ltd is an environmentally aware company, so we ask all our participants to respect the trails, wildlife and others we meet. Please do not litter and stay on the trails. Follow all instructions given by our guides and enjoy your day.

For insurance purposes, all drivers must be 16 years of age and over and hold a valid class5 drivers license. All passengers must be at least 12 years old and able to hold grab handles and keep feet firmly on footrest.

All tours subject to change or cancellation with out notice by Canmore Quad Tours Ltd.
Canmore Quad Tours Ltd reserves the right to refuse any participant entry to any tour.

All participants must sign a registration form including a medical declaration. A release of liability waiver will also require signing.
50% non refundable deposit taken on booking. Tour cancelled less than 1 week before tour date 100% non refundable.
